Below I have included a picture of what hose I'm referring to.
Any clarification would be greatly appreciated. Pictures would be even better, as I understand it better if there are picture rather then reading. But any help is welcomed.
The larger hose goes to the heater contol valve on the passenger side. My thread has this info covered for you. LMK if you need more help...
I've been watching your thread like a hawk. Pretty sure I understand where the larger hose (#2) connects. However hose #1 has me scratching my head. Where you think that one goes?
To me, it looks like the 2 hose goes to IACV unless if it's the hose in the front which goes to the heater control valve. I can't tell which hose you are trying to circle.
That's what I'm thinking I won't be able to get better pics till later, since it's at my buddies house.

I agree. Although I put a filter on it and then plugged the line by the turbo piping, but I'll check.

#2 is definitely the coolant hose for the heater core
It's deff not the fuel return line as the hose I'm referring to is connected to the hard water pipe that runs in the back of the block.
#2 I guess connects to the heater control valve.
Anyone know the hose routing way? Also the two inlets on the firewall. I believe one is a return & one is a feed to the actual heater core, any pics on how those are routed?
ok if its a small coolant hose its more than likely for the IACV. The iacv has two coolant ports to help with cold starts.
here are some pics of iacv coolant lines
Thanks so much for being detailed with it. Now the question comes up, can I bypass this? I have caps on those ports on the IACV. If I cap where that hose comes from on the hard water pipe, is that going to affect drive ability or start up?
yes you can, your afr may be a little rich at cold starts until the engine warms up after a few min but that's it. it does not affect drivability
Cool thanks so much for the info! You've cleared it all up for me! I will be capping that off, since I have already capped off the IACV ports.
One more question to you all, so I don't start another thread on it.
Doing a 5 speed swap, I've installed the clutch pedal, and the pedal sticks to the floor. Take into consideration, I have not put any tranny or clutch fluid in. So I'm thinking that's typical, but would like some clarification.
