I have a 1998 Lexus Sc400 and I am looking to add HP, I am afraid of doing Turbo charger because I don't know to much about cars as I am learning and if something breaks I feel it would be expensive since I cant do the work myself or I would not even know how to pin point what went wrong. So I am looking for some suggestion, the basic abc's that the sc400 should have. I think if I can get the basic and install them then I will be ready for the turbo charger maybe next summer. So let me know what you have done to your sc400 and how it work out for you..

If you have to ask about a turbo dont get it. Its a custom one off job and will run you about 6-10k to have a shop do it for ya! Basic mods are BFI, Exhaust and some headers. Throw a lil nitrous in there if you want cheap easy HP.

Ask Steve Chumo. You can have a turbo 1uz for half that money.

Bfi like 10hp if you do the entire thing, not just the cut out, headers gains 20hp, ad then the exhaust another 10 to 15hp.

Yea I dont know what to do as of yet, just trying to figure out the must. Dont want to be one of those sc400. Thanks for the input so far.
