ok . I just bought this car, 140,000 miles very clean, when i drove it hard i noticed a slight miss so I bought plugs, wires caps and rotors, (these vehicles are not the easiest cars to work on, I must be getting old) when I took the plugs out 3 of them were loose and 2 of them were so tight I had to use an air ratchet, i would have to assume there was no lube put on the old plugs, now the car runs hard so I'm going to try to smog it again, any assistance would be appreciated

Failed smog twice but just passed on my 206k sc3... high nox (2XXX @ 15mph, 7XX @ 25mph) with borderline passing HC.

Did my reading and found out high nox is related to EGR. I cleaned the EGR and passed.
