PCV Valve Replacement
I know, I know this should be the simplest repair. Does the pcv valve just pull straight out. The reason I ask is my replacement PCV valve has threads. I don't want to just yank the valve out if it's threaded but when I turn it it doesn't seem to be threaded. I have a 93 SC 400.
Just yank it out, there are no threads in the current one. You're gonna give it a big tug too.
Be careful with the rubber grommet too, usually it breaks and falls into the valve covers and ends up being a bigger problem. And PLEASE replace the grommet! Its worth the extra 3 bucks.
Check lexls.com for the tutorial on how to replace it.

UPDATE. Well I got the PCV valve out. I had to lever it out. Must have been the original it looked pretty bad. The grommet was original also. It wouldonly come out in pieces. Yes it did fall into the crank but I was able to fashion a tool out of wire and fish it out.
