Transparent Timing Belt Cover for 2JZ
Has anybody tried to install this or something like it on their 2JZ-GE or 2JZ-GTE?

I think it is there more so that people do not get touched and HURT by a moving part when the car is on. This way you can inspect things while the car is running and not worry about hurting yourself. Who cares if it gets dirty just clean it! Dirt dust and bugs get up in there through the bottom regardless if it has holes or not.

I used to have one with a hole cut in it, till I had it mocked up on my spare motor and happened to drop a bolt down there. after I noticed how easily that could have happened to my running motor and how the bolt landed right between the belt and the sprocket at the bottom I didn't put it back on the running motor. Moral of the story is if you cut it put some clear plastic there or something to keep stuff out.
