Default Lots of white smoke (pics), valve stem seals?

Hey everybody, my SC is in trouble (92 SC300 with 150k miles). She was starting to smoke when warming up and I assumed these were the valve stem seals, although as of last night she's now pouring out white smoke at idle and especially when I give it gas. Is it still the valve stem seals or is it something else?

It smells gassy...but could be oil?

PS. Don't mention the crappy taillights, I'll be redoing them this summer

Thanks guys

I'd say headgasket as well.. Valve stem seals usually only cause smoking at an idle and after acceleration.. Maybe do a compression test and go from there.

GTE headgasket is thicker right? I won't be going NA-T for a while...wouldn't a thicker headgasket be detrimental for a stock SC?

The supra TT head gasket would actually lower your compression from like 10:1 to like 9:1. You won't have that pep in your sc but once you get boosted, the head gasket should make up for that.

Look in the throttle body intake and see if there is fluid in there.

white=coolant but does not always mean hg. blue=oil. black=fuel before you run off with some of these guys conclusions of a bad hg is it overheating at the stand still, highway? does the smoke stop when driving? any check engine lights? are you losing coolant?

If the car is dumping oil and not having enough time to burn it all, it will pour huge clouds of white smoke. Trust me, if you ever had a turbos shaft seals fail you would know what I am talking about. Burning oil as in the case of valve stem seals at start does always burn blue.

Well, the coolant is still the beautiful translucent Toyota red, and the oil on the dipstick is clean too...not murky at all.

Checked, there is not.

Soooo...given the gas smell and clean coolant I'm leaning towards ECU. I know I should run a compression test, and I will soon enough. Any other suggestions?
