Do you have a link to the website where that shifter came from?

Dream36 Jan 9, 2013 05:30 AM

subscribing simply because I would like to turbo my car eventually and a stick shift is a must if I do 1UZbaby

Glad to see more following the developments

Thanks for that pic. I suppose I"ll cross that road later. Picked up one of those billet shortened brackets.

Got it off ebay. The day after I ordered it, I found out the guy selling these swap kits would have just modified the stock bracket for half the price. Oh well.

SCary400 Jan 18, 2013 03:49 PM

Have a link for that billet bracket?

Halon Jan 18, 2013 04:07 PM

Just search for it on ebay . 350z shifter mount or 350z shifter bracket.

Otherwise you can just have the guy selling the kits modify the stock one for half the price. Wish I woulda done that and saved $100, oh well.

Good question. I haven't crossed that bridge yet. My thoughts were to try and get my hands on a stock 350z mount, start with it and modify it as needed, or make an adapter plate, to use the stock SC300 mounting holes.

Halon, what are your starter bolts dimensions?

Sorry to jump in here out of nowhere ;) but been reading this thread a while ago....

DONE this - and can share some info :)

i've made a custom billet alu flywheel for a Skyline clutch setup ( RB25DET push type )
10mm adapter plate

all works more than fine - love the way the gearbox works - and with a 1JZ, with GT35 turbine - is AWESOME :)

some pics - it is the first one - so the adapter looks like crap :)

Who made your flywheel?

sayayin Feb 4, 2013 03:43 AM

found this http://collinsadapters.com/index.php...es/toyota.html

TeamPealou Feb 4, 2013 10:30 AM

That is not a Collins Performance adapter plate. that one doesn't look like it would function on anything.. and for 3/8" what kind of factor of safety can you guarantee with that?? That adapter doesn't look safe.

The flywheel looks pretty bad ass though!

could you show us a picture of the transmission bolted up??
