i got 27mpg on my road trip last weekend, which was about 250 miles one way.

i drove 250 miles there, measured, and got 27mpg.
then i got 27mpg again on the way back home.
and this exactly matched my "mpg" meter on my 97 cluster.

my city mileage is ~18-20. i was surprised to see 27mpg on the highway.

what are you all getting?

 

I got 17.9 mixed last tank. I be boostin hard tho dawg.

 

last tank of fuel i got about 9.34 MPG.

Measured via GPS? How are you correcting for non-stock gear ratios?

 

yeah that 5th gear and diff ratio will jack the mileage all up

Yellowbox I've actually got it 1 MPH slower than my GPS measured (So when the cluster reads 70, I'm doing 69).

Yeah it sucks, cause it feels like a stock SC400 compared to power and acceleration. When I had my 3.93, and my 4.08, it was super quick. I was staying on par with 370Z's. But gas mileage was like 200 lol

 

Roger bacon. That's some crazy good mileage though.

 

I get about 23mpg average... I do mostly highway driving, but DMV traffic will turn that highway right into a city for you.

98 SC300, W58 (swapped) with stock 4.27 gearing.

Yeah mine reads fast by like 1-1.5mph also. So I really only get about 17.5 MPG

Yeah, i usually get 27-28 on highway and 17 on city. With a stock 98 SC300.
