Sc400 manual VS. 2002 M3 ??
Sc400 with manual swap, headers,intake,2wy LSD , coil overs etc...
VS. BMW m3 2002.
How would the SC stand it's ground in handling , speed and fun factor?
I know the SC 400 is working with less power but how much less is it fun to drive than the 15-20k M3?

what year sc400? i had a brand new 2006 nissan 350z. it had a 300hp/260tq 7000rpm redline motor with a 6 speed manual. sure it handled better and was overall faster as the laws of physics would dictate. but i absolutely love my sc, it is my no means any less fun to drive. i have a 98 with ppe headers and a blitz exhaust and the 5 speed auto and the noise it makes puts a smile on my face every time. i can just imagine what a manual trans and lsd would do for it! in the end it all depends on your goal. looking to go to track days, get the m3. but for just fun around town, the sc can be just as good. the m3 is a sick sick car no doubt, but also can be more expensive to mod/maintain. so whatever your needs are go that route, but by no means is the sc4 not fun

An SC with a properly set up suspension, LSD and 5-speed manual swap feels and handles like a muscle car that turns. Very fun but still the handling is not comparable to an E46 M3. Even a 98-00 SC400 engine (290hp crank) won't quite match the M3's 338hp. A GTE swap will cure that problem but it is still a completely different car than the BMW.
But fun? Very fun. And it's not like the SC chassis can't handle well for a long wheelbase luxury coupe. Just not nearly as well as a real track car like the M3.
