So I was using a 3 jaw pulley puller, and it snapped off a chunk of the crank pulley..
Now I'm in the market for a new crank pulley/harmonic balancer..
Anyone have experience with underdrive crank pulley I was looking at a set off DM ..umderdrive crank pulley, power steering, alt, and waterpump for a reasonable price..
Or should I just get another oem crank pulley used and call it a day?
from personal experience i steer clear of underdriven pulleys. the engineers built the engine with the pulleys on it for a reason. i would stick to an OEM pulley
oem. they are made to be balanced with the crank the aftermarket lightweight ones will wear out your number 1 and 6 bearings out faster than the others
