Default Want to start drifting, but I have a question...

Does a stock 1992 SC400 come with LSD? If not what type of differential do I have? I am not able to check at the moment, but I would really like to know.

no SC comes with an LSD. You have a very very open differential.

Eh what about the fact that your car is a auto? Unless is been swapped to manual but my guess is its still a auto. And do yourself a favor and do some research first before asking these questions.

People ask these questions and end up never doing it. And if you do "drift" aka powerslide, probably hit a curb/wall then sell the car for dirt cheap.

You'll want an aftermarket LSD or a Supra clutch type shimmed to aggressive lockup.

Personally, I prefer a 1.5 way differential. Doesn't scrub too much speed on deceleration and will lock up no problem if you jam on the brakes. It's all in preference though and regardless of what set up you buy, a credible shop will be able to tune the diff lockup to your liking.
