1998-2000 SC400 LSDs?
I am going to buy a SC400 around spring. I have my heart set on the 98-2000 years because their refreshed styling and more powerful engine. I don't want to be a drift god or anything but I know I'm going to want to kick the tail out every now and then so I am going to install a limited slip diff. I know the SC400 never was blessed with an LSD and some aftermarket LSDs exist for the 4 speed autos of 1991-1996 but do those diffs work on the 5 speed autos of 1997-2000? Lastly, The early 2000's IS300 5 speed auto has the same trans as the late models SC's and an LSD. Will the LSD of the IS300 bolt on to the SC400?

G'day... from Australia
G'day SpitfireV8.. I know this was posted a while ago but ive just seen it. I have a '98 LS400 and would loved to swap a LSD in. Ive just also read ADAM2562 who had a Supra TT 3.76 in a '98 GS400.
I'm inclined to think that the '98 GS, LS and SC would have the same diff housing as the powertrain's are all the same so i'm assuming that if the LSD fitted the GS, it would both our cars. I was leaning on taking pot luck on a MK4 Supra T-2 Torsen unit on ebay out of Japan or the U.S. for $550 - $750......
Did you end up having an LSD fitted to your SC ?
BTW.. Are you happy with your SC ?
