My 95 SC300 NA-T Build (Holset HX40)
Hi,
This is what the car looked like when I bought it in September 2011.
I was planning to turbo charge it from the beginning and thought it would take a long time, however the bug got me and I started quickly. Now that the car is almost done, I thought I would start this thread.

Here is a pic of the car in My Garage.
This car is a 1995 5-speed, with black interior and around 140,000 miles, new timing belt, Supra TT brakes all around.

I got a Holset HX40 from a guy here in CL and a new manifold from CXracing
The exhaust housing was hitting the intake manifold, So Danny cut and welded the exhaust manifold to fit
Her is the final test fit, still need to get the exhaust fabed

I got the inter-cooler all mounted, I went with same side exits to help keep the AC lines and battery intact. I painted it with Eastwood Radiator Paint to keep it a sleeper.

I was able to tweak the coolant reservoir brackets to keep it in the stock place. and all the underskirting should fit back on.

Nice build thread. That looks like a tight fit with that Holset. What engine management are you going to use? How much power are you trying to make?

I'm going with an AEM
I finally got it all wired up, I used an AEM wide-band, AEM AIT, AEM boost gage, And an AEM 3.5 bar MAP sensor
I mounted the gages on the left of the steering wheel, you can see then threw the wheel.

I don't know about the lag, all the performance charts showed it to be in the sweet spot on my set-up, the specs for the HX40 are 60/58/16,
I plan on being around 400hp at 1bar or 14.5 psi to start, I don't want to go any more until I can source a R-154 or 6-speed tranny
