On my 93 sc300 I took off the cats and the reasonators. And had some universal mufflers put in. I'm not liking the sound. So I was wondering if anyone knew of some good brands for mufflers or axle backs.

 

basically anything name brand will be good. hks, apexi, ect.

 

Put the cats back on......sounds great without resonators.......somewhat irresponsible taking cats off anyway

 

There's a whole thread on exhaust with pics and clips come on now please search and stop posting up new threads.

 

Is the sound u dislike a crackle or rasp? if so get a high flow resonator.
Otherwise check the exhaust thread for brands on there.

anyway. here is a pic of a muffler i got. it sounds good. you can also youtube search some videos of sc's with axle back mufflers like the Tanabe, Blitz, and Megans.

i have Megan Axle Back on mine.

 

We put a Tanabe Medalion Touring exhaust on my wife's SC300 and liked the look and sound of it.
