Default Changing battery cable harness on 92 SC400

Anyone ever change a battery cable harness on an SC400. The negative side looks easy enough but that positive side I traced to an area by the starter and found a black plastic box that the cable terminates into and can't figure out how to open it. I knew this shouldn''t be a terribly difficult job but this has got me stumped.

I am wanting to replace the cable, while replacing the starter (SC400). Can I use a generic cable from Autozone and how do I connect/replace under/in the fuse box?

Bumpin' the thread cause I didn't find anything when searching...

I actually have a complete battery cable harness which includes positive and negative cables from the battery to starter etc. I was going to do it while I changed the starter and replaced valve cover gaskets etc but t looked like it would be a real bear to get between the firewall and rear of the engine to where the cable connects to the starter. I would appreciate it if anyone else on the forum has any information on changing this out.

I know you have to pull the intake manifold to change the starter on an sc4.

Default battery cable harness

Take my advice, it's more work than you think. I had an issue with my harness and ended up pulling the whole engine to access the full harness.

Was it a pain to pull it out? I think I may have to go through this process
