Uplugged power steering connector?

that's not the power steering pressure switch as mentioned earlier, that's the one that helps at lower speeds. The connector he mentioned is on the steering rack itself, not the power steering pressure hose as shown in the picture. I've had that same question before and no one knows what it's for and if it has or had a purpose. It hasn't affected power steering on my car at all and haven't worried about it at all.

I unplugged mine a few days ago to see if it made a difference in steering. The connector to the PRESSURE SWITCH leads to the main body harness which splits underneath the #1 injector area. One end goes to the main fuse box in the engine bay and there is also a wire that leads to the a/c compressor.

there is no plug from the harness to that sensor on the rack which you have circled. I have had 2 SC's to date and none had a plug. Now if you are referring to the 2 wire tiny plug that sits towards the backside of the rack; if you unplug that one that will lead to true upper body workout during parking or low speeds...
I am wondering if you bridged the connection to the pressure control valve, will that provide the tighter steering at all times?

I have a 5 spd and it does not have it.
I always thought the 5 speeds didnt have anything connected to the plug and some automatic models have the plug (this is just an observation, not a fact).
For those posting if they have a connector there or not please state your year/model/transmission so we can get somewhere with this and put this connector mystery to rest.
