i got that similar message from an ex when i dropped my 1j in, and all the little weekends spent putting in coil-overs, and going to garage sales, oh, and spending couple days a week at the drift track. In time i grew out of it (not wholly) and now i have a gf who wants me to go to the track... strange how **** works. Great job on the build... i am impatient and if it took this long, i would have given up. I did mine in 3 days, and over planned everything. Keep it up.
Spent a few hours this past Saturday working with Ryan on the car. She runs, Ryan just needed to button up a few little things before taking her for a good shake down.
just WOW about the lady,at one point i was in the same deal about my wife but she understand that a build come to a end so she just have to go and spend some time in the garage with you.
hey what kind of engine mounts did you use?.... i saw driftmotion selling one for 69 a piece
Suprastore is about the only place I found that had the jdm downpipe for stock twins. I decided to go single which will make a lot of things much easier.
Today I received the water pump and fuel pump. Attached is pics of turbo and bov. The dog is on the table purely for size reference of turbo.
Ok all I can say is sorry for the delay but now I have finished pics of the swap.
I have been driving to work for the past 3 weeks just takin it easy on her. I am trying to build my bank account back up so I can go get her tuned soon. I have basically stayed out of boost, maybe 1-2 psi because I couldn't stand to not hear the bov. She drives awesome, no leaks, no hiccups. Power steering, AC, and all accessories work fine. Tranny shifts smooth at least now before I can throw some power at her. I cant wait to get her tuned and on the dyno and look at the numbers.
