Default 92 sc300/Aristo swap...

Finally finishing up my swap...

92 sc300
Aristo 2jzgte
billet 6265
single walbro
Supra 550cc
3" straight back to Megan can for now

now it just needs to be tuned going with AEM vs 1... currently piecing together fuel system with 1 walbro and 1 Denso with 12lb injectors looking to go in by the end of the year

shout to Quick SC4 for all the help answering my sometimes silly questions, I had never done anything other then brake work and very minor things completed the whole thing with no help other then a hand with putting the hood back on... anyway check it out and appreciate any and all feedback

Sorry for the semi off topic question, but what banjo bolt did you use for the vacuum brakes? I need to know where to find one.

very nice swap!!!

i am currently looking to do a swap as well on my 98 sc400. the aristo motor you got, did you use the aristo transmission with it as well? does the wiring harness plug right in? does the ac lines connect straight into the compressor of the GTE?
i think the aristo oil pan is front sump right? do you need to convert it? sorry for going off topic with these questions. but thanks for any insight and help!

ps- do you mind letting us know about how much it costed you for the entire swap and how long it took you to do it (very impressive with your limited experience). im kind of in the same boat and am curious
thx!

i was originally 5spd and went to a R154 ACT 6 puck sprung clutch with high pressure plate... wiring was done by Dr Tweak who made it completely plug and play... i used my original GE AC compressor and oil pan... cost cant really say cause Ive been collecting swap parts for a couple yrs... Id estimate $5000 for everything so far and hopefully no more then $1000 for proper tuning... I say hopefully because im going to have the shop do a thorough enspection of my work seeing that it was my first time.

by the way I have to give a shout to the whole club lexus it has been by far the best tool in my toolbox... no disrespect but the search engine and simply browsing through the past threads will give you a tremendous amount of knowledge almost to the point you will feel you have done it before when you start tackling it yourself
