Thought this was an interesting video.

 

Good video but it's too bad they didn't get higher #s. The 1uz has a lot of potential if tuned right.

 

Is this motor worth tuning with just an BFI, exhaust, and headers? Or waste of time?

 

^^^ if close to 300hp will satisfy you then yes. not going to get much more out of it n/a probably. trimming out some fuel with a afc has shown to have some small gains. theres a thread on here titled something like sc400 no maf = more power that talks about trying to tune the 1uz.

 

Interesting also spot a nice MR2 and what seems to be a Celica All-trac/GT4 in the back
