Impressive indeed. I agree with him that if he just wants to see the gains from the mods, you must keep all of your variables the same. I am not an expert on dynos but I think if you really want to see what your car is putting down (no matter what state, sea level, dyno, etc..), you have to run it in your 1:1 ratio. Any higher or lower ratio, the "true" number is going to be skewed.

Curious to see how the next jump in power will be with the stock exhaust upgraded.

Same here, I can't wait to get those. I like that James guy, great no BS attitude and the install video was so impressive. I cannot wait to buy from him. Paired with RRR tune .... heaven :-)

Why do you run it in auto mode at the track? Why not paddle shift?

Probably for the same reason they do everything else they way they do. Consistency! Remove as many variables as possible to get the real change in the numbers. It's science stuff.

Agreed. Far too much data submitted on the forums is riddled with variables that aren't checked with questionable claims.

Correct! Consistency is key. Accuracy is all we are interested in.

Dyno numbers are on the high side for the combination of modifications. The low 115mph trap speed indicates that to me. Looking forward to your tuning solution in order to flaten those curves and maximize power further.

No these numbers are pretty average for a Dynapack Dyno. We have Dynoed hundreds of ISF's over the years and have more data than anyone. High or low it doesn't matter. It's all about the delta (change in power). One of these days I'm hoping people finally stop trying to compare one dyno to another. You simply can't do that with any accuracy. These peaks and valleys are normal also. Every single ISF has them in the exact same spots. Your probably used to looking at dyno jet graphs with the scale stretched out. We could easily make the peaks and valleys look less noticeable by changing the graph scale and x y values. But that's pointless. Yes, we have seen great results from the tunes we have done but nothing comes close to the gains seen from the headers.

^^^^Not in my book. You published the first 2 Dyno results for silky headers which is bogus. No ISF will rev to 6900 RPM. I have attached two of the curves you guys posted. Curve #2 is what you folks call a comparison to PPE - WRONG. Attachment #3 is a PPE curve with your numbers superimposed . As you can see, much less power under 6200 RPM than PPE and you are showing PPE going out to 6900 RPM also, again that is something no ISF can do.

Lou, you are a great resource of knowledge of this chassis and a valued memeber. But your bias towards PPE and the witchhunt towards Sikky was noticeable from the first week I logged on to this forum.

Ease it back brother. More competition in this market the better!

I would imagine with a direct to hub dyno that the numbers may be slightly higher due to the reduction of rotational mass from the rear wheels. However, likes been stated by dyno operators, and not by salesmen, it's the delta that matters.
