Default fuel injector preference question

I am looking to get an all new fuel system. my goals are between 400 and 500whp. application will be road racing and drifting.

so I have a 1jzgte in my sc.

I am going to run an aem ems v1 (in my garage already)

now i look at the aem software and it looks like my options are.

1. SARD
2. FIC (Fuel Injection Clinic)
3. RC Engineering
4. Siemen Deka

now these are all low impedence and around 800cc.

now my question is which is the best brand?

Why not go for high impedance injectors so you don't have to wire in a resistor pack? I've heard good things about sard but never personally ran them in any of my cars

I am considering that, but my tuner recommended or should I say "prefers" the low impedance style injector. I hear that it is personal preference but the consensus seems to be low impedance is preferred.

True, it is easier to find low impedance injectors for a lower price anyway. Good luck with finding the right brand.

You can run whatever injectors you want as long as you have the right fuel rail .
Sard are usually side feed and high impedance so they drop right in the stock fuel rail and no resistor will be needed.
I had a set of RC1600cc they were ok but i loved the 1000cc low impedance i had before those and they where low imp RC1000cc.

I am trying the new ID1000cc i was told they idle like stock ..

High impedance is better IMO but more expensive.

Final decision made.

I went with Fuel Injection Clinic. they had a package, rail, 850cc low impedance injectors and fuel pressure regulator. = 780

Also apparently I don't need a resistor pack, because I am running aem ems and having the injectors wired for sequential fire.

Are you sure you don't need a resistor box? because it just sounds little weird to me..

talked to cam at dr. tweaks and he said that the aem box doesn't need a resistor and in fact it gets in the way. they were having a problem with someones resister box. also i set this up for sequential fire, stock tt supra is batch.

Ok what EMS box are you using? I am just trying to help you here.

I ran aem ems from supra tt or supra na 30-1100 or 1101 and they both require a resistor box if you are using low imp injectors.
The stock injectors are high impedance, at least on the stock ge the usdm gte uses low impedance that's why they have a box on strut tower on the driver side.
the na injectors are high imp, just like the stock 1jz.
If you are using low imp injectors on ECU that require 12ohms injectors you will need a box.
There are two basic types of injectors. Low impedance injectors with a resistance of around 2.5-3 ohms, and high impedance injectors of around 12 ohms. This can easily be measured by a multimeter across the two electrical terminals.

I am running the 30-1100 for tt supra. i have the fuel injectors wired for sequential fire. injectors are low impedance.

Ok so you need a resistor box trust me before you frie you ecu, batch fire and sequential firing doesn't have nothing to do with high and low imp injectors.

I think dr. tweak might be assuming i am running v2. I think that v2 has a peak and hold (low impedance) driver, which doesn't require it to run a resistor. or so i am reading in the aem forums. so quicksc4 i believe you may be right and i need to spend $200 more. bummer.

Thanks for the heads up.. i was about to go off of what one person said instead of the million posts i have read. because I had always planned on buying a resistor until i talked to old boy.

Just get a tt resistor box you pick them up for ~100-150 on supraforums.
I used honda and acura resistor box, cheaper and perform the same. you can get one from an Acura legend it will have the same amount of wire as the tt one does.
gl let us know how it goes.
