Default wheels, caps

Thanks i thought it was a nice touch, just need one more engine emblem to complete the set, then paint the rims.

96sc is stealing my thunder here.

Anyways, here are some pointers.
Although 96sc's alternative method may be easier, it does come with compromise on aesthetics. There are gaps on each end of Lexus logo where it fails to cover the elongated Infiniti logo. Also, because this method retains the original backing from the Lexus emblem, there will be contrasting effect on the cap.

It's a matter of preference on choosing quick finish or pursuing the perfection.

No hate intended 96sc.

Default caps

They both make the wheel look oem, i personally like the smaller logo, but you are 100 correct, it does not fill the Infiniti logo 100%, its a personal preference. When i paint the wheels i most likely will fill that small area with two part plastic paint all one color. Its not as easy as one might think to dremel for the recessed look, then mounting so they don't fall off. Not to mention its hard enough finding 4 donor motors to get the logos, you don't want to lose one later lol.

Both will update any Nissan Infiniti wheels, any other options out there, we cant be the only two who came up with something that looks decent or is oem?

Anyone done a set with the wheels all one color and caps?

I didn't want to start a new thread & my eyes are getting tired of eBay & Google searching...

I was all ready to try this DIY but I can't find my Infiniti center caps (from my g35 18" 7-spoke rims). Soooo, I was just going to buy blank 2 1/8" center caps on eBay but I'm not sure if all center caps are created equal & will fit.

I'm in Hawaii too so if you could suggest anywhere locally to purchase the caps OR suggest an online source that would be great! I'm planning on resurfacing/painting my rims in a couple months & want to paint the caps at the same time.

Any info is appreciated!

Look for INFINITI G35 CHROME WHEEL/WHEELS CENTER CAP/CAPS in ebay, you'll find some that fit the Infiniti wheels. Refinish to whatever color you'd like. I chose metallic black on mine and then search for STICK ON ADHESIVE ROUND LEXUS CHROME PLATED WHEEL EMBLEM LOGOS SET OF 4. They're the perfect size to fit the Infiniti/Nissan caps, just center them on the cap, remove the backing, and stick em on. No drilling needed. Pretty easy.
