you could do itbs and cams. high comp pistons. also more than just an ehxuast but a properly tuned exhuast with long tube equal length headers. you could also put runners on top of the itbs and make airboxes for a ram air effect to help with power. you could do fine tuning with cam gears. you could also delete the hydro fan and move to an electric fan. there's a lot you can do.

No one currently makes a full cat-back to my knowledge, so you will need to look into an axle-back or mufflers and then have custom piping done the rest of the way. Here is a link to a similar thread:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...ower-asap.html

Please use the search button! There are plenty of threads on this forum about making power with the 1uzfe, and then there is an entire forum dedicated to Toyota/Lexus v8s. www.lextreme.com

You're welcome....

You could conform and go the "easier" route with that inline 6, OR you could be different and rock the 1uzfe. I would venture to say there is only a handful of guys making serious power (to me that means 300+) with the v8 on this forum. For me personally I want to be different and unique with my car. Just my .02...

I understand but is it really worth spend twice as much on a 1UZFE and still make less power that a JZ with a upgraded turbo. To me i would want more power than to just be different..................just saying

I just want to clarify that I am obviously NOT one of the guys on this forum making 300 plus hp with my 1uzfe that I referred to in my previous post. But I plan to be eventually. Either way good luck to you and whatever you decide.

Who says you have to spend twice as much on a 1UZFE compared to buying a 1jz motor-set and upgraded turbo and everything that goes along with that. I think the only cost problem is the transmission setup and whether you want to shell out way too much money for certain parts. The JZ swap is definitely easier though. So, if you want easy fun then I guess that's your ticket.

I'm with you man. I'll just have to finish collecting my two piece engineering degree set and get enough cash to start the boost build.
