I have seen the 1uz vvti swap thread. It is not as difficult as a 2JZ swap because it requires no rewiring. Instead all the wring gets swapped out of the donor car. It requires a front clip with keys and possibly the wireless door receiver. It is an easier swap but it's also a more labor intensive swap.

I was going to do it because my friend had a full donor car i mean complete but for the power gain for me it wasn't worth all the trouble.

Dude you need the whole car, even the fuel tank has to be swapped over all that stuff is different, dash harnesses front end harness.

If you want to stay UZ I think the 60HP gain coupled with the 5 speed automatic and the taller differential is worth it.

haha I really wanted to stay with the 1UZ but the time i will take to swap the stuff over you are beasiclly doing double work.
I am not even talking about the money.. just can a 98SC4 and some some money, the hassle , and the time IMO.
Don't get me wrong i love the VVTi V8,there is actually another member that did the swap.

If you have the m90 already I would go with the bullet car kit. I was planning on doing the same but now I'm leaning towards the 4.7 short block and maybe some nitrous. This is very far away from happening for me though

well for 6 psi you should be ok without an intercooler. as far as engine management you wont need it though you might need a fpr also you'll want an oil cooler for the transmission and you are goin g to want to up the line pressure. whp would be around 230-240 ish vs. the stock 180. oh and make sure to get a torque converter.
