Default sc300 temp needle moving up and down

hey CL i just walked into door from driving home from work. i work about 15 mins away from my home and take a major highway. well today while driving the car i am lookng at the temp gauge and the needle is movie up and down anyone ever had this prob?

Yes, I had that problem when the original engine in my car blew the head gasket.

Probably your thermostat. How man miles on your SC? When was the last major tune up? (water pump, timing belt, seals, thermostat)

I just changed my headgasket 2months ago and timingbelt thermostat too never changes the water pump though

All seals. CHanged too I didn't want it to be the water pump but I had an idea it would be. Guess it is the water pump grrrrrr
