Default What plug is this for?

I dropped in a 1jz all by myself, but I can't figure what this cable plug is for. I'm hoping it's my speed sensor cable but I doubt it. I have yet to find my speed sensor cable as well.

Probably steering rack plug.

Being that the plug for the PS is on the other side, I would rule that one out. Maybe the front knock sensor. Up behind the alt.

Its for the steering rack. I had the same problem and someone pointed this out to me. You will need to extend it

If that's the case the inlet for the plug must be on the drivers side. Maybe that's why it's a little difficult to turn the wheel. I'll take a look tomorrow when I have light. Thanks.

+1 that is for the steering rack pressure switch. Allows for easier steering at lower speeds. Extend it to the other side of the car to the rack.

I think either green or yellow. Ill double check tomorrow. Why?

IIRC, they're both green but one was green with red tracer.

My power steering line had insulation around it. Strange that its on that side.

If you had a 1j swap, it should have been on the same side as the OPs due to the whole RHD thing...
