scviolence, what kind of performance enhancements are you looking to achieve? have you heard/ seen proof of numbers increase? I had a AFC, and sold it due to the lack of solid claims.

Any better gas mileage at least?? LOL

Good luck with the install, if nothing else at least it'll look cool...=P

Not necessarily high rpm. It's useful at any RPM when the throttle gets pushed past ~65-75%.

If you need me to go more technical so you can understand what the afc is doing and how the car reacts to it, let me know and I'll be glad to help out more.

Hooah! Your the man for this writeup on the install. Its fairly simple but you laid it out like a champ dude.

Did the SAFC NEO work out for you, at least at a starting point?

I don't want to burst anyone bubble.. But on my 94 na-t setup my first setup was on a neo it installed great and I guess worked for daily driving and it only works in karmen mode but when it came down to tuning that thing it was a epic fail I don't know if it was just me but the neo wasn't reading the maf or something and I couldn't adjust fuel under load so when ever I hit like 4k rpm it would break up as if I had a boost cut.. So I ended up even trading a buddy of mine with a 03 is300 for a safc2 and it was smooth as butter actually pulled all the way to redline lol but I never got to tuning it :/ but now im on megasquirt so all is well!

(Good Luck!!)
