Hey guys,

Been awhile since I've posted any updates so here it goes.....

Car is running great except a few small quirks. Mostly I'm having a bit of trouble with cold starting. Doesn't always want to come alive on the first attempt.

Idles great, drives great. I've chirped the tires a few times on the 2-3 shift which it never did before. I still haven't opened her up all the way. I've had it up to 8psi with 60% throttle at about 6000rpm. I'm honestly still a bit nervous to go all the way with it. I also think I'd be much better off going to the straight track to do some WOT tuning.

Once I get the fuel sorted out I might take it to a dyno to tune the timing but I'm not sure if it will really be needed or not. I'm running a fairly agressive (I think) ignition map. I would love to see some other maps if anybody has any to share.

The auto fuel tuning / closed loop mode works like magic!

I'd love to run some 7.5's 7.6's in the 1/8 mile. Previous best being a 7.703. I will very likely run 1/8 before 1/4 since thats what is close to me.

I'm also going to need to re-tune the shift points. I have the rev limiter set to 7000rpm but my shift points will determine where the WOT limits are actually set. I really just want to gain the few MPH I've lost per gear since adding power and changing the rear end. Shouldn't have to push it to 7000rpm to do it I don't think.

That's about it for now.

OP, how do you like the adaptronic?

and i'm guessing the 420c has 4 inj drivers? it would be really cool if you could do fully sequential injection. great power and great gas mileage too!

and since you're doing standalone EMS have you thought about doing E85? i bet you'd gain quite a bit of power at the same boost...

Ya, didn't go too great.

Ran twice. The first time should have been a great pass but for some reason my transmission was stuck in 1st gear. I think the Suprastick hung up for some reason. I did manage to log the run. Had her up to 7200rpm and made 13.6psi (194kpa). Also went 0 to 45mph in 2.5 seconds, based on the log. Had a 1.7 flat 60 ft but went through the 1/8 trap at about 40mph and over 11 seconds since it never did shift.

I had it set to shift at 38mph. Not sure what happened. Wouldn't even shift in manual mode. I went into the Suprastick with my computer and it started shifting again so I guess it was hung up for some reason, has never happened before though.

The second run sucked. My confidence was a bit shaken by the first run and I was stuck next to a full out drag car which always sucks. Spun the whole 60ft and had a very poor time as a result.

I decided to give up and try another day. I am very confident that some new personal best times are in the future. That 1.7 60ft is my 2nd or 3rd best ever and I was barely trying to launch. Didn't try the lauch control or anything. Was just trying to feel it out so to speak.

Thanks man.

Dissapointed but I wouldn't say discouraged. I don't think many have really followed my progress over the last couple of years but when I first started running the 1/8 mile I was doing low 10's and a few high 9's. A couple of years and a couple of hundred runs later I'm running 7.7's! I've come a long way!

I do not doubt at all that it has some 7.5 - 7.6's (or better) in it and that I can crack the 12 second barrier and run some high 11's in the 1/4 once I get the shift points sorted out and get the launch control working.

Just a matter of time....
