Thanks Kris!!! All it was that I used is a old jig saw I had laying around and a scre driver
I don't know if air passes the magnet, had no idea it had to, all I know is the (top) of the speaker has to be separated from the bottom in order for it to sound good. There has to be separation other wise it'll sound like ****...

Most of the air leakage and vibration is the two sardine can sized panels to either side of the sub. One is for the sub amp, the other is a symmetrical cutout for who knows what purpose. I mounted a mono amp to the underside of one to power my aftermarket sub and dynamatted over the top of both of them. Pictured here:

I ordered a kicker 10C104, and it fit perfectly on the bracket for my oem sub and the cover fit over it perfectly, but I can't bolt the bracket down because the sub won't slide through the rear deck. Did you guys have to cut/widen the hole in the rear deck to fit the sub through? What did you guys use to widen the hole?
