Tach adapter or resistor mod for a 2jzgte?
I know the 1jz guys just jump a resistor on the back of the cluster, does the same mod work for a 2jzgte, or do I have to run a tach adapter? I have not found a solid answer on this one.
TIA

They use the same 6 channel ignitor (w/same tach signal) and it works.

You should be able to just jump the resistor. No need to remove it. I need to search myself for a 1jz thread that tells which resistor....

Hmmm, looks like R109 at least for the early cars like mine. Not sure on the 95...

OIC. One day I may get one too. My needles are burnt and I have an auto cluster. Good luck man. I'm going to try to get mine working this weekend.
