1jz starting and warming problems
Hey guys, iv been having this issue for a little while now,
Basically i have a 1jz/r154 in an '86 corolla coupe and am having issue with starting and warming up.
The car will crank after about 5 minutes of attempts. Once its cranked however if i touch the gas before its even starting to warm up it dies.
I can floor it and it will studder for a few seconds and pick up only with a miss the whole time. ONLY when the car is almost completely warm, about 15-20 minutes later can i begin to throttle on. At that point it still carries a miss for the next couple minutes depending on how quiickly i can "work" it out with the throttle, After that the car runs and drives fine...
