Any noticeable gains for a na sc400 w/ intake+exhaust on a tune?

Default Any noticeable gains for a na sc400 w/ intake+exhaust on a tune?

Sup guys, I have a 98 sc400 with an intake. I'm going to be getting an exhaust done soon with magnaflows and going 2.25 piping. I just wanted to know if there would be any noticeable gains with an AEM FIC 8 ems? Is it worth doing? Will i feel a boost in power with just my intake and a tune? Thanks

So you parted with an idea of selling this and getting SC3?

I think your SRT "chip" is already working to fool the ecu to read a higher air flow rate. You may be able to tune the engine with a piggy back to deliver peak power later in the power band for a higher maximum output, but you won't see any real performance gains like that without supporting mods to the engine. That's where it becomes cheaper to go with forced induction.

With any good tune, you should always feel a lit bit of more power under the gas pedal. JMO.
