99/vvti + Supra LSD/3.76 = FUN!
After a week of driving with the Supra TT differential installed I would say this mod has added a real fun factor to the car. The throttle response at a lower RPM is immediate. Great for city driving and on the highway at 60 mph the RPM went from 2000 with the 3.26 gears to 2350. A big thanks to John(autoboy) for the great deal on the differential and getting it to me in BC. It's also nice to now have two black stripes behind the car.

Wow, another mod I've been looking to do myself. Heh, its awesome to have you as my guinea-pig to make sure everything works properly, Paul! Haha!! Your SC is gonna have a very similar cousin across the pond
Btw, still haven't received my Carbing STB, its been almost 4 months!!! Should be coming in this week though..

I love both, that same pinciple 0-60 also works with the 0-128 . I was just letting you know, so it doesnt suprise you like it did me. I thought something broke for a sec, until I realized what happened & that having a 3.76 diff, did affect the car in other ways, besides the lower gas mileage.

bcsc400: Thanks for the info by the way.... as I was telling spdrcr771 in some PM's and one of my other post, I'm trying and still trying to get this deal from a guy regarding supra auto tt pumpkin. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...d-you-pay.html.... i'm really looking to get it for the LSD tho but was going to try to just slap it on first and try it. (thats if I get the deal). If you are saying that 2000rpm with the 3.26 gears to 2350rpm, whoa!!! Going all the way to 4.08 would probably be in 3200rpm range already. I'll definitely loose way way too much MPG and I definitely don't want that hahahaaa...

Thought you went with 3.76? bcsc400 kept the original 3.26 gearing so how would his top speed be 128MPH like yours? I'm not sure what the top speed on stock but I dont imagine he loosing that much?

With the stock 3.26 gears it was 2000 RPM at 60 MPH, 2350 at 60 with the change to 3.76 gears.
