Default single turbo 1j guys, IAC Valve....?

What are you 1jz guys with a single turbo doing with that Idle air control unit in the rear section of the intake manifold.

1.Are you putting a small filter on the opening?

2.Pluming it back in to the intake?

3.Blocking it off?

Let me know because i'm about to put a small filter on it and let it ride
Thanks,Al
