Default First trip to the strip, ran some 10s :)

Got a chance to run the car at the 1/4 mile at Montgomerys Import Face off event. It poured the whole way up there and quit about 5 minutes from the track! held off the whole day despite 60-80% forcast of rain.

car ran a best of 10.5@133mph

Breakdown:

1.76
4.592
6.91
105.6mph
000.00
10.517
133.7mph

went to an 1/8th mile track 2 days prior to see how she did and I netted some 6.50s, was having a super hard time holding the car back on the converter it was just pushing thru the brakes. Put brand new brakes on saturday morning and it did the same thing on sunday. One of the techs at my shop said its possibly the ABS pump and worn out rubber lines.

I do have a transbrake but decided it would be best i not use it while trying to actually run an event incase it just killed the drivetrain

Took second place overall in my class due to anintercooler piping issue we fought all day, misaligned pipe just had to much stress on it and it would blow off. That will be fixed this week.

Setup is rather simple:

JDM aristo motor
Greddy intake manifold-only because i like the look
PTE billet 6765 non BB
Cast manifold
FMIC
AEM
75 shot zex wet kit
TH400, 3400-3600 converter

Car has everything in it, AC, PS, heater, leather, even the floor mats! Wanted to get a few pounds off her just didnt have time. She does have the spare tire and jack removed but in my class I had to be in full street trim

Damn, that is pretty fast for those simple motor mods and full interior!

D A A A Y U M !!

awesome numbers

I guess having the th400 really lets you get up into some boost for launching.
(I'm sure a little squirt always helps out too)
