Default o2 sensor compatibility range

Updated Question

Is there a way to make 4 wire threaded o2 sensors from a 1997 SC300 fit into a header that has bolt on o2 sensor bungs? Thank you.
Will o2 sensors from a 1995 and older sc300 work with an OBDII ecu and plug from a 1997 and up o2 sensor? Thanks

yarthsA

edit: I realize they are bolt on o2 sensors..but will the plugs work? and will the ecu read it correctly and all that?

Hi! Sry I should of checked this section earlier. It all depends on the number of wires the one you have on now is. When I was N/A i picked up 2 borg warner o2's from ebay dirt cheap Brand New and they had the same amount of wires running out of them.

So the dependent factors are the wires. I know the ones my car had(which i cant use with this new manifold) had 4 wires. I am assuming the 1995 SC300's have 2? Do they make 4 wire bolt on o2 sensors? Thanks for chiming in. Appreciate it.

If you can plug it up it should work.

alright, whats the manifold look like?
If it looks like the old o2 it should work. if not this place sells the stock the cheapest. You just need to wire it together. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/rafr...1187603k870692

FYI - I know the 96 SC300 had 2-wire O2 sensors and the 99 SC300 has 4-wire O2 sensors...

4 Wires are typically in this order:
Black wire- Ground for Heater
Black wire- Ground for body
Red wire- Heater (B+)
White wire- signal wire (0-1v only)
