Default 4.7 liter tundra motor swap

After long hard thinkn i decided i wanted to do the 4.7 liter tundra motor swap. after lookn all over club lexuz and threads it really hasent pointed to me wat i really want to kno. i want to know everything i need to kno in order to do this swap. also i want to supercharge the engine, didnt want to do that to the my v8 cuz i dont want to cuz out my hood. so if anybody can help me i would like that.

What cost more money doing a 1jz gte or the 4.7 tundra swap

Scotturnot I believe has a swapped Tundra blown engine in his car mated to a 6speed tranny?! :O

CSSC, if you want to swap in a 4.7 liter, go for it, but I am not clear on your comments that seem to indicate you think the 4.0 liter with a supercharger may stick out over your hood, and perhaps this is not the case with the 4.7? The overall dimensions of the engines are very similar, it is your displacement that is larger, not your engine.

I think you should write down your power goals, your estimated budget, and determine if you just want to supercharge your 4.0 liter. You can make a lot of power with the 4.0.

rite now im want to looking at for a goal of hp is 600. money wise i want to spend up to 5 grand to start off. i have got the looks out the way so far with my car new body kit nd taillights. so far i want to rebuild the 4.0 but dont know if the supercharger will fit on my block with out doin a cut out on the hood. with we startn school soon i also thought about doin a entire black out under the hood like my car
