Default Help 1jz timing belt install!!

Hi guys,

I'm getting ready to put this 1j in soon. And i'm in the middle of doing to timing belt. A few months ago I found a perfect step by step how to guide on-line somewhere but I cant seem to find it. If anyone knows a link to a guide for the 1jz timing belt procedure let me know..............thanks!!!

AL

o And would you guys spend the money on the greddy belt or just use the Izuzu Rodeo belt.

I would use the Greddy belt if I was gonna do an entire build.

the procedure is exactly the same as the 2J belt, not that difficult for my first timing belt, but then again i have the advantage of the engine being out of the car

as for a belt, i'm using the Izuzu belt. Im not looking to make major power anytime soon, but at the same time i can't justify spending $150 on a piece of blue rubber. I don't see much of an advantage for the performance aftermarket belts.

Man.... that is the exact link I was looking for thanks alot!!!!

I have the motor out the car and I'm doing general maintenance and putting a gt40 on it. I'm trying to make 450-500 area. Is the Rodeo belt good enough or should I just pony up the money for the greddy.
