Default Anyone running the DRIFTMOTION power steering hose replacement?

Just as the title states:

I just wanted to see if anyone was running the Driftmotion power steering hose replacement for our stock units and how they feel. . . ? ? ?

Lemme know!

I got my hose in from them yesterday. Going to put it on later tonight if I have the time. Don't think it'll feel any different than stock though

Thank you. Someone with sense replies. I was wondering b/c the stock unit has banjo fittings and looks like this

http://www.******************.com/po...MgNCBXYXNoZXJz

vs the DM version (see link above). The stock one seems to vary in size because of pressurization which is why I was wondering how the DM version feels as it is not the same design.

Here's a link to the thread I was reading why I asked the question in the first place. I too just ordered the part from DM. I guess we'll see. . .

I'm running one on my 91 7M supra ( the 7M version of course ). I'm actually on my second one. It's crucial that these lines do not rub on anything or get in a bind or they will fail. My first one was routed just under the front of the oil pan on top of the crossmember. The line blew in two places where it was rubbing on the oil pan. I bought another one from Aaron and made sure it was more free. No problems since. It's actually nice to not have to deal with a banjo bolt. No leaks either.

I made my own, but its just like the one from drift motion. You have to get rid of the vacuum lines that go to banjo bolts , its never been the same since i changed it. Maybe i just need an alighment...dont know.

Kool. Thanks for the info. I will let you guys know how it feels after this weekend. I'll see if I can rig the vaccum lines too. Dunno about that...GTSFIRE, thanks for the heads up on the rubbing part too.

I've had mine for over a year I think it made the steering feel better and smoother.

Idk if it's just me but I've done the DM PS line and I hate it! The power assist is gone and only is suitable when the car is moving at at least 10mph. Thought I would've been a great upgrade but I'm very disappointed.

I had it on my SC300 when I did the engine swap and found at low speeds the steering was very stiff. No power assist. At speeds above 20mph it felt normal. I have since rebuilt my stock unit and reinstalled it.
My recommendation is to have your old unit rebuilt by a reputable shop that does just that. Mine cost $60. at a local shop in my area.

I've had it on my Supra since just after this post- no problems at all 7 years later. I put it on my SC as well and do not have an issue there either. Granted both are swapped GTE motors, but i'm sure that does not make a difference. I also put it on an SC I sold to my cousin 2 years ago. He also is not having any issues.
