Default Difference between SC400 tranny and LS400 tranny?

Hello everyone,
I am the fortunate owner of both an LS400 VVTi 5spd auto and an SC400 VVTi 5spd auto. However, the LS400 seems to have more power from takeoff then the SC400. Is this because of different gearing in the transmission? The respective transmissions have different part numbers and thus I am assuming that the gearing is different. The torque converters have the same part numbers. Is it simply different tuning of the same mechanicals? Has anyone ever tried and LS400 transmission in an SC400?
Thanks in advance for your time.
Luis

If I'm not mistaken, both the LS400 VVTi and SC400 VVTi use the same A650E transmission w/ the same gear ratios.

probly different rear end gears, the 98+ sc400 came with the 3.26 gears which i have swapped in my sc3, from what i understand the ls400 has 3.62 gear ratio, but it could have been changed on the vvti models
