Damn weather...Hey! I´m next to you in the turboing process!
Recently I purchased a Holset HX40w to put it in and maybe similar tubing design as yours, with manifolds upside down.
Do you think I can do this without taking engine off the car?

You may, but it'll take you forever to complete it. The time and sweat to fabricate it without removing the engine can cost you up to 10 times. It'll be much quicker and easier to fabricate and install it when the engine is outside.

"Follow the leader".Lol.
I´ll take the engine out then. I want to have all parts first and then do the job in less than a month.
Wich way is easier? With or without the trans?

Tran out, too will be easier for engine removal and re-installation. You can get it done in a month, yes.

yes horrible weather man, i had a canopy out there over the front of the car and the rain destroyed it now its like 102 outside and humid, and i had to tar my roof, anyways yea man your better off taking out the engine, i meen you can tack weld everything with it inside and then pull it all out finish wleding and putit back in and make sure everything fits the same, sometimes things shift a bit when you weld them, and be very carefull with the motor mounts when taking the engine in and out, other than that keep us posted man, Im waiting on my local sprint store to get my new phone i pre ordered an EVO monday that way i can take pics and upload them, the setup is coming out very clean

I appreciate it man Your car is a work of art, these cars are addictive eh? lol, tomorrow we finish hopefully the intercooler piping and turbo oil return, tuesday bleed the clutch and install driveshaft, and fisnish exhaust, im hoping to get it moving by friday ..hey i was wondering if the AEM Fic 6 would run the 1uz fine i meen its designed to run upto 6 channels but then again the 1UZ fires the injectors in batches of 2 so i figured the FIC thinks its a 4cylinder, would i have ignition issues? any help would be great!

Looking good man! I'll be doing this one day, but I won't have the means until I finish my Master's and get a real job! Props on getting your skills up so early. How much do you think you have in this project total? You seem to be doing well at keeping the cost down.

I covered both sides and blew air in with my mouth and held pressure well, Im only going to be boosting about 8psi right now man Im pretty sure the turbo is big enough to keep a steady supply of 8psi even if i have a leak, but i dont have a 3in piping to replace it yet but i do intend to replace it lol, it makes the whole setup look kinda stock ehh? .. today we bled the clutch and installed the drive shaft, and boost signal lines from intake to wastgate and BOV, everything seems to be falling into place, tomorrow is exhaust and battery relocation
