with the T70 i could just drive it normally and it would nevr pass the 1/2 way point.. but if i go and run it itll go up to like 3/4 point so lets see when i install the less restrictive turbo how it behaves.. oh by the way theres a guy with one around here 1uz+Garret AR.50 compressor on 7lbs he said he dynoed at 473rwhp thru a R154.. those numbers got me thinking how much i was pushing with 9-10psi thru a .70 compressor..Originally Posted by SC400TT
Are you still facing overheating problems, or have you resolved them now?Ryan

So after alot of research I converted the New Turbo into an Anti surge Turbo!!
what do u guys think? With the help of a friend we used the shop tools were he works at (Aircraft Repair Station) and we machined the housing to create antisurge ports and make the outer tube aswell as shorten the original housing inlet then I tig welded the outer tube to the Housing,

Carlos, did you ever post up how to wire up the F/IC?
I emailed it to MMCtuner ask him to Fwd it to you i dont really remember were i stored the files.. and word of advice dont interfere with the MAF wires theres no need to clamp the voltageOriginally Posted by ihiryu
looks nice!Carlos, did you ever post up how to wire up the F/IC?
Ah, thanks a lot Carlos, yeah I didn't think we'd need to clamp the AFM, it reads positive pressure, and the ECU knows it too, but still thanks for the word of advice

I tried to clamp it. and it was terrible is turn the car off and my tune would be ignored once i turned it back on.. and the AFM measures air velocity not pressure but the fic8 does have a built in MAP sensor that reads absolute pressure(psia) rather than positive pressure or gauge pressure(psig). According to the pressure it will address fuel or timing per rpm.. Good luck BroOriginally Posted by ihiryu

but good news we reworked the exhaust pipes that route the exhaust into the turbo for better flow as well as changing the down pipe to accommodate the new Snail,I got a 99 bumper aswell!! Ive been gathering parts, so far sitting next to my computer is a NEW Megan Racing MK4 radiator, HUGE Intercooler like 31x12 i think, 3" piping kit, and Tial Q BOV (Purple) Im now saving to buy Tein Coilovers and some wheels in the future along with a Hood..
