T61 Install...Code 25,26,71
Just finished a DaveH PT61 full install this past weekend. Car is boosting great with no leaks nor any problems.
Some mods i did:
1. 12v Fuel Pump Mod
2. EGR Block off W/ Resistor (as explained on SupraForums)
3. SAFC II
Found out the codes my check engine was telling me today.
It seems the familiar Code 25 and 25, lean malfunction and rich malfunction. These must have to do with the O2 Sensors that are plugged in (not my MAF cus that works fine and has been plugged in). The sensors are working fine my guess is that they are being f'ed around since the car isn't stock and the SAFC is doing its own little work on the side. Any ideas people?
Code 71...i put a 10k ohm 1/2 watt resistor in just as explained on Supra Forums. Blocked off every vacuum line for the EGR and stock intake manifold. Etc.
Any suggesstions on the EGR code 71? Shall i plug in the old temp. connector and leave it just plugged in without using the EGR (as in keeping my block off plates??)
Final question...AIRBAG light came on after i took out the dash and had to unplug the Yellow connector that hooks on the back of the dash. Now of course that is plugged in but even after a battery disconnection the AIRBAG light is still there. =/

I did not pull the EFI fuse yet.....
i'll take pics but whats that gunna help with the CEL codes? lol
7psi..auto..daveh t61...stock injectors...maf..safc II...hks ssqv...
turbodreams....its a blow-thru....and yes of course my o2 is hooked up..they gotta be hooked up!
AFR is about 14 at idle...11 at WOT....10 at full boost....standard AFR's i mean i know what im doin =)
i'll pull EFI fuse and let battery rest completely unplugged for 10 minutes today too to see if anythig will fix.

Just checking cause you never know..and my car started with out the o2 sensors installed thats why I asked...how much boost are you running that your afr is 10 at wot?

wot is about 11-12 its been slightly adjusting as the car is breaking in more n ****
im boosting 7psi wastegate spring...boost controller hasn't arrived yet to get the accurate result but upon feeling and knowing whats on the car its about 7...shudnt be more i mean spring is 7.2

disconnected battery for hour with EFI fuse out...(couldn't disconnect longer cus had to leave with car urgently =P )
CEL went off..however AIRBAG light is still ON.
CEL came back on randomly then turned off again...dunno what went on but it seems to be gone for the majority of the time.

ur welcome LoL the airbag light i have read is a process with the ignition key or what not to reset might wanna do a search on that. The cel coming on and then off is kinda weird, I would suggest that you cut off the actual plug in wich you put the resistor in and hard wire the resistor straight to the actual wiring of the harness and heat shrink it. Like that you know its not the connection.

Or plug the old temp plug back into the the current temp plug next to the firewall and then cut those 2 wires coming up, then connect those 2 wires to the resistor to gaurentee that they are actually touching =)
EGR code i think is def off but when i removed my silencers yesterday off the exhaust (glendale police already gave me at ticket within the first few hours of me driving with the custom exhuast on) the car had better load and probbaly was throwing the lean/rich malfunction in the traffic i was under going (im still palying around with SAFC too)
