Well as you all know i was debating wether to get a 1jz or a 2jz, well today i made up my mind and i bought the engine from JDM engine corp . I researched them on google and couldnt find anything good or bad about them so im hoping i dont get screwed. Here is the ebay link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT. I dont plan to put the engine in yet . My plans are to do a leak down test , compression test dry and wet so ican make sure the engine is in top shape .After i will ride around on the stock twins for a bit till i get all my parts to go single. I have a dd so this is going to be a good project i dont know when it will begin or end .

i plan to do everything myself except the harness , i dont feel like i have enough patience and time to do the harness , let the DR take care of that .

I understand your relief. I bought my first JDM engine from them so I wasn't sure to expect.

As with anything, a good motor can be described as many things according to those guys distributing them.

Just do some preventative maintenance while you're in there. It'll save headaches, tears, and cases of beer for when you really need it all.

Well wait, you never need to cry or have headaches.
