Default GS300 2JZ comared to SC300 2JZ

I just got a 1993 SC300 Manual and I've been looking high and low for a good intake for either the supra or the SC but I've come up with nothing but an Injin that apparently breaks alot. I've found a nice Weapon R intake for the GS300 and I was wondering if it would work on my SC

the best intake you can do, and is free is a BFI..use the search and type in "BFI intake mod"

The flexible rubber tube that goes from the MAF to the harder plastic portion of the intake has a tendency to dry out and crack.

Granted, horrible wording, but I knew what he was talking about.

yah sorry about the horrid wording on all of that. I wrote it right before i fell asleep. I'm reading about the BFI right now on Planet Soarer so I'm assuming it's for the 1JZ, I also assume it's pretty much a universal mod? But my question still stands will the mods for the GS300 2JZ work for the SC300 2JZ?

By GS300 I'm assuming you mean the 2nd gen GS300 (98-05). If so, the intake probably won't fit since it is routed a bit differently and has a different length. You might be able to rig it up somehow, but most likely will not bolt on. How do the Injen intakes break often?

As everyone said, the BFI is probably the best upgrade. The oem resonator box is beneficial since it sort of stores air when the engine needs it. Aftermarket intakes will miss this sort of feature.
