1jz valve covers on a 2jzge?
Has anyone tried this? I did a search but I didn't get a conclusion on it. TIA

Why? That is the real question here..

^^^Probably so he can run a front facing intake manifold and the 1jz spark plug cover so it looks nicer.
I've seen a guy run the 2jz-gte valve covers and spark plug cover on his N/A. Not sure about the 1jz though. |

i dont think the 1jz valve covers will fit due becauseof the indentation for the intake manifold. what onejay said makes sense and use a front facing intake manifold, i want to do that to mine but i dont wanna shell out 600 bucks for a manifold. I'd rather just find a 1jz head.

So to clear things up, because I was wondering this too, can you put a 2jz-gte intake manifold directly onto a ge head, that way changing the spark plugs is easier haha, and the engine bay just looks cleaner.
