i already have the 1j swapped it has beed for awhile now, but i have always ran electric fans well now that the weather is warming up i can tell u that its not gonna cut it! so my question is does the sc300 fan shroud work with the swap cause i wanna go back to the mechanical fan

 

This would be an engine related question so the proper place for this thread would be over in the PERFORMANCE/MAINTENANCE section.

The SC300 stock fan shroud will work with the 1J. If that Texas heat is really beating your motor up I would run the electric fans and the clutch type fan together. Did your 1J come with the hydrofan?

 

im not sure it just came with the fan and fan clutch with no shroud
switched over to electric fans and its not working out

 

Get the GTE fan blade as it is different.

 

it already is the gte fan blade i just wanted to make sure the sc300 shroud was the same since my car didnt come with one

if the sc300 and sc400 fan shrouds are the same?

 

call the toyota dealership and ask for the part numbers of both, if they are identical, si senor.
