When I installed my SAFC, the manual was wrong, So I called APEXI , and had them send me the correct updated one, where the 2jzge (OBD1) Is listed as a Karman sensor. These are the Pinouts that worked (Karman sensor is 66! a yellow and green wire) , directly from APEXI, after I spoke with them, they emailed me. BTW like i said in my earlier post, I was in the same situation, I did everything correctly, My unit was defective. Send it in!

Okay got it working! The 96 have different MAF's and I'm guessing they're hotwire instead of karman.

Thank you everyone for helping

The orange wire is so that the display dims when you turn on your headlights. I highly suggest wiring it in since at night this thing can get pretty bright.

I think you just wire it to a 12 volt source that gets current when the lights go on. I think that light in the glove box works, or the light under the cigarette lighter.

The 96+ SC300 are the ones with a Pressure Sensor.
If im not mistaken 1996 + hot wire type
