Default Another Aristo swap

Well here it is. This is my friend Chee's car. (Mike510) We just got the harness back today and it'll be going in sometime in the next couple weeks. Got the engine out a couple weeks ago and he's been doing things like timing belt, water pump, seals, etc.

To bad it is nowhere near me I would be willing to help out. I love doing motor swaps that are for the better for horsepower or looks. Post pics when you get the time I like to see the progress.

Also, quick question, for the aristo engine, you have to change out the water pump with an SC/Supra water pump correct? Does it bolt in with no modification?

Yes it is. The rear of the water pump's are different. I read a POST somewhere that they took apart the SC front of the water pump and use the rear of the ARISTO.

Would need a 2jzgte water pump from a supra. GE wont fit. How do I know? I tried to put a GTE waterpump on a GE motor before didn't work out too good. GTE waterpump have different coolant passage then the GE.

Got the engine in today. Should have taken some pics but forgot my camera. We should have it mostly finished and ready to have the downpipe made by Wednesday or this weekend at the latest.
