But , you don't think it's worth it at some point? Plus, when you choose to have a turbo on your car, you're not exactly looking for low maintenance. I wish i can find a comparison between the two on the same car and see what difference it makes...

Its especially worth it for drag race setup; you can have a reservoir and fill it with ice and get very chilled intake air. Also, their capacity for heat dissipation through water is far superior to air to air intercoolers. However, the systems are heavier, and more complex, and can cause some packaging issues. An air to air is the lightest and simplest thing you can do.
Here is our favorite intercooler to use on cars where the budget allows for the best parts:
You can run coolant, co2, or nitrous through them, and they are very efficient air to air intercoolers as well.

air to air is far more effecient on the streets.....on a strip, its a total different ball game and the Liquid-air has a rediculous advantage with a drag setup....Ive seen setups reach ambient air temps coming out of the liquid intercoolers.....

Air to Air is sufficient for drag racing 99.9% of the time. Where you see the advantage of water to air is during road racing where you are making 30-60 minutes of straight high revs.
